Help us WIN a grant from Bangor Savings Bank!

Every year, Bangor Savings Bank holds a vote to award grants to Maine nonprofits. Voting is quick and easy, so if you could vote for us here, we would really appreciate it - and please share about it. Thank you to Jean (our music librarian) and Charme (a member of our board) for suggesting this!

Please VOTE for Midcoast Community Chorus here: https://www.bangor.com/the-bangor-savings-bank-foundation/cmm/

Monday is the last day to sign up! Late registration is from 5:00 - 6:30pm this coming Monday 2/24/25. Bring along anyone you know who might like giving chorus a try!

AUDITIONS TO BE IN THE SMALL GROUP OF SINGERS will be held on March 3rd and March 10th from 5:30-6:30pm.

The small group is an open audition to sing one additional song called "When The Earth Stands Still". The attached document is the section being used for auditions - the part is section 'E' until the end. You can also find it online here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ZQaXZNmUUkunmMLGw-38f7v-CEQQaEdP/view?usp=sharing

The practice tracks are also up here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1tY2wxesqAQEDiVaZB3NZHEoEykPeOjDi

Note: *Sopranos should only learn the Soprano 2 part for now. We will make a reminder announcement on Monday and have the sign up sheet for anyone else who wants to join the audition group. Auditions will be in 4 minute slots that I will send to you. We hope the song will have ~28-30 singers, so don’t be shy!

You can also see the member directory (now with photos!) and the FAQ here! If you do not have a photo, see Jeff Kaufmann at check in. This is not required, but it can help your fellow singers (and executive directors and conductors!) learn your names! :)
