You can now pre-register to join the Midcoast Community Chorus for the Fall 2024 season!
Registration will continue on Monday, September 16th, 2024 starting at 5:00pm with rehearsal to follow at 6:30pm.
Everybody is welcome to join, no matter what your musical experience or skill level. We will provide the education and guidance to build your singing skills as needed. We you we want you there!

● In Person: First Congregational Church of Camden, 55 Elm Street, Camden ME 04843 on Monday, September 9th at 5:00 pm. Rehearsal will begin at 6:30pm

We are a community chorus – which means that we warmly welcome all those who love to sing, love to learn, and love to find creative ways to help give support to worthy causes in Midcoast Maine! We welcome singers who cannot read music as well as those who can, those who learn best by ear and those who need more support to learn a song, those who have sung in groups in the past and those who have only sung in the shower before. Our singers include folks ranging in age from their teens through their nineties, from incredibly diverse backgrounds and career fields. We have members who love classical music, pop, rock, jazz, showtunes, blues, country, soul – you name it! We’ve sung in over 20 different languages (including English!), and sing uplifting harmonies on a wide variety of songs, as well as tackling more challenging and innovative compositions. No audition is required to join… just a commitment to show up for weekly rehearsals, a mindset that supports our goal to support the needs of our neighbors in Midcoast, and a love of music that will allow you to enjoy singing as a member of the MCC!
Midcoast Community Chorus is a vibrant and dynamic 501(c)(3) non-profit organization providing choral programs and training for all voices. We generally perform two concerts a year in January and June. Our concerts typically sell out and a portion of our proceeds are donated annually to selected local non-profits performing important work in our communities.
We rehearse on Mondays from 6:30 – 8:30 at the First Congregational Church, 55 Elm Street in Camden.
