MCC recognizes that Foundation grants are critical for us as a singing entity and to develop outreach initiatives to foster singing communities. Our 2020 Beneficiary is The Ripple Initiative. Their mission is
“to provide a community-based clearinghouse of goods and services for those struggling with poverty or homelessness, and to provide a platform for volunteering, donating, and contributing to the wellbeing of our neighbors.”
The organization serves individuals and families in the community in times of need. They believe in the community and envision a "neighbor helping neighbor" grass roots organization, with the goal to fill the gaps poverty creates in people’s lives. Often it is the simplest things that can change someone's financial forecast and help propel them forward. The Ripple Initiative believes that although you may need a hand up today, that won’t always be the case.
