Sing with Us
Are you interested in singing with MCC?
MCC is open to all singers without audition. During the rehearsal season, you may choose to audition for a solo or to sing in a small ensemble, but no auditions are required for chorus participation.
Registration and Membership
For each seasonal concert in which you sing, a singer must fill out a registration form ( 2012 Fall Regsitration Form coming soon!) and pay a registration fee to cover the costs of music, rehearsal space, practice aids, choral binders, and other costs directly related to that performance. Singers also will receive bi-weekly email chorus announcements as well as updates from section leaders.
Please note: MCC is a membership organization. In addition to registering to sing in a seasonal concert, all singers must be members of MCC. Annual membership dues are vital to funding our overall operational expenses and entitle you to sing in our concerts and vote at our annual meeting. Our Membership Card offers several membership levels, starting at $5 for students and $10 for adults; we encourage you to commit to as high a level as your budget allows.
If you are a returning singer and unsure of your membership status, please ask us at 975-0582 or info@mccsings.org. We will also have this information available at registration.
Rehearsals
Rehearsals are held on Monday evenings from 6:30-8:30 pm at John Street United Methodist Church in Camden.
