More about MC3!

Building on its many successes singing as a community for the community, Midcoast Community Chorus (MCC)formed Midcoast Community Children’s Chorus, or MC3!, in September, 2012.  Since its inception in 2007, MCC has delighted audiences throughout the midcoast region and raised over $35,000 for local non-profits. “Our long-term strategic plan has always included a children’s chorus–we are incredibly excited to be able to make it a reality this fall,” says MCC Executive Director Shelley Johnson.

The new children’s chorus is non-auditioned and open to all children 7 to 12 years of age.

Annual Membership Dues

Your membership dues support our efforts to create and maintain a standing community chorus that raises its voice to help others in the midcoast area. The chorus also needs funds for its own operations and your membership dues help cover some of those costs. Membership fees start at $5 for students. We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation so all donations are tax exempt.

Seasonal Concert Fees and Registration

Seasonal concert fees, which are separate from annual membership dues, cover sheet music, chorus communications and other hard costs that must be met to allow us to rehearse and sing together every Wednesday night during the  concert season.  Full and partial scholarships for registration fees are available.

Be a Volunteer

Having one or two parent/guardian volunteers each week is integral to the success of our rehearsals. It helps keep children safe and allows our rehearsals to start on time and run smoothly. Please complete the Parent Volunteer Form and let us know when you are available. Download an MC3! Parent Volunteer Form: MC3! Parent Volunteer Form
